Levels 9 to 12

Level 9

In Level 9 we will introduce three new sounds; TH, WH and NG.

Level 10

In Level 10 we will introduce the sound combination nk, as well as introduce the -ALL ending that makes an ‘oll’ sound.  We will also talk about how an S can sometimes make a /z/ sound..

Level 11

In Level 11 we will talk about words that are very common, but are a little bit tricky or irregular.  We explain why we are introducing these at this stage in the programme, and how these words are important to help us to read and write sentences.

In Level 12 we introduce the ‘Magic E’ rule.
