Level 25
In Level 25 we will be looking at different ways to make an “E” sound, including a single E at the end of words (he, be); two Es together (see, been) and the fact that Y can make an “E” sound at the end of words (mammy, sleepy).
Levels 25 to 28
Level 26
In Level 26 we will be introducing the word ending -TION, which makes “shin” (station, mention).
Level 27
In Level 27 we will be talking about words that end in SH, CH, X and S, and how to make them plural.
You can’t just add an S like other words, but have to add -ES (brush/brushes, catch/catches, fox/foxes, glass/glasses).
Level 28
In Level 28 we will explain that OW, that we have already explained usually makes an “ow” sound (as in a shout of pain!) sound; can also make an “oh” sound (as in “oh dear”).
